A message that resonated with us to overcome these self-conscious feelings was, “Forget What People Think.” One way that we thought this message could be more impactful was if we were able to wear it and look at it as a reminder to, “forget what people think,” every time those feelings of self-doubt started to creep in. So we took the liberty of making a shirt with this message and it took the form of 4 letters: F.W.P.T. or “fuh-wup-t” for short.

We weren’t planning on starting a business at the beginning, but as people started to get inspired by learning what FWPT stood for, we saw an opportunity to empower confidence in others through the medium of clothing. Enter COVID, the future seemed so uncertain so we thought, why wait? Now’s the time to bring this idea to life.

FWPT was born in the heart of downtown Toronto. What began as university students teaming up on a personal project transformed into the founding of the global clothing brand you see today. FWPT has since expanded internationally as a registered Limited Liability Company in the State of New York.

Since day one, we've designed our clothing lines with the intention of boosting self-confidence. No matter what race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation you are, all are welcome to share into the FWPT mantra.
